SPC Project #2

Image
SPC Project Review        Rosmery Gonzalez   Students were placed into 3 groups which are the same 3 groups from the last project. Each group were given two topics. Group 1 had a good presentation with a good topic. Group 2 had a great topic with a weak presentation. Group 3 had a great topic and great information, but a mediocre presentation due to circumstances out of their hands, no camera on plus the connection that it wasn't their fault.  Group one:    Group one was the first one to present and their  sub-topics of Education and Law and Order-Protest Rallies. It was very interesting to watch all of the facts that were brought up on these issues because it has been issues that have sparked recent protests around major cities in the United States. These topics are very important and are the reasons that make this country better then others. The brochure they ...

Melvyn A. Parra 11/5/20 SPCH Theme Project Presentation Review             For SPC1017 students were responsible to make presentations on topics given to us by our Professor. Students were divided into 3 groups which are the same 3 groups from the last project. Each group were given two topics, Group 1 was told to make a presentation on Law and Order/Rallies and Education, Group 2 were told to make presentations on Health Care and Immigration and Group 3 were told to make presentations on Racial Divides and The Pandemic. Along with the slides certain students from each group had to make a Brochure and Study Guide for the class that basically gave them a gist and as class leaders 2 students made introductions adn reviews fro each group Group 1     Group 1 made presentations on Law and Order/Rallies and Education. These topics are very important and are the reasons that make this country better then others. This group was ...

Theme Project Reflection Camila Perez SPC 1017 November 5,2020 Group 1      T he first group up to present was logically group 1, they talked about Law and Order-Protests/Rallies along with education. Two topics that have constant relevance in our lives. I believe that group one did an exceptional job in their presentation. They made several points that fit well to their presentation, such as talking about the Black Lives Matter protest and the impact they had not only in our communities but in the entire world. You can tell that the presentation was planned very strategically since all of the topics flowed very nicely. All of the presenters spoke with confidence and accuracy, I would say that the group improved majorly since the previous presentation.

Group Number 1 went over Law and Order-Protests/Rallies and Education Issues. Most of the group members used minimal wording on their slides and more pictures. They presented their assigned portion of the issue well and it was very easy to understand. On the other hand, some of the group members had too many words with almost no pictures. The brochure they made was very informative and easy to understand. Some other mistake group 1 made was that not many of the group members had their face cams turned on while doing their part of the presentation, also not all the members in group one showed up on the day of the presentation to present their part of their presentation. The entire group overall showed off many pictures and videos to show their prestation and it made it easier to understand their issue. The group also remained on topic and didn’t write about other random topics. Group number 2 was next to present and they went over Health care and Immigration. The group provided good sli...

SPC Theme Project Presentation Review

SPC Theme Projects Review Emanuelle Guillemi Today, I will be reviewing the projects that the three groups received, had to with current event topics that are relevant to our society at this very moment. Each individual group was assigned two sub-topics to work from pertaining to issues we are facing in the United States. The groups presented a PowerPoint where each member narrated their slide while providing information on their topics. It, however, was very evident that some groups put more effort into completing their projects than the other.

SPC Project 2 Review - Anthony Menendez

I'll be reviewing the three groups' project on the topics we were assigned. When reviewing the groups, I'll be explaining their topics and how they went about their presentations. In my first review, I'll review group 1's topic and that is Law and Order. Then the next review, is on group 2. With the final review on group 3. Group 1 had a good presentation with a good topic. Group 2 had a great topic with a weak presentation. Group 3 had a great topic and great information, but a mediocre presentation due to circumstances out of their hands.  In group 1's presentation, they spoke about law and order. They had a good topic and an equally as good of a presentation. However, their communication during the presentation was a bit off. But let me explain, my favorite part of their presentation, is how they used historical references. The way group 1 used historical data to explain law and order. I like to learn the history of things, and it was interesting learning th...

In my speech class we did 3 separate presentations on different things in the United States. The six topics that we needed to cover across the 3 groups were Law and order-protests and rallies, Education, Health care, immigration, Racial divides, and the Pandemic. To start off, group 1 had Law and order-protests and rallies as well as education. For all the groups we were supposed to include things such as an Agenda, a presentation, a brochure while including information about their topics. Group one’s presentation was very good; their brochure and their agendas were easy to understand. The information in their presentation was very important related to todays issues. And the individuals presenting the presentation were very well informed of the topic they were speaking about. As well as the information on the brochures and the agendas were very informative. You could tell that all of individuals were well informed of the topic and they did their research to do...

Presentation Reflections              Group 1                   Group One presented on the topics of Law and Order-Protest/Rallies. I liked how their presentation touched upon gun violence because it sadly is an issue that makes schools and public spaces risky to attend. Protests were also presented by them, which are events that have been happening for a long while now in many different places. Their manner of speaking and educating the audience on the subjects was very well projected. They also stayed on topic the entire presentation without drifting off or having a sense of hesitation. Their transition from one presenters to the  next sub topic was smooth an appropriate, this could also reflect their team work and communication within the group itself which is good to see. Overall, I really enjoyed their presentation and the information I have learned from it.  ...

Luisfelipe Justo SPC1017 Sherri Sinkoff Projects: Group 1: The first group presenting was Group 1 and they talked about Law and Order-Protests/Rallies and also about Education. While I overall think they did an amazing job like the other 2 groups and the leaders, they did have some things that could have being different so their presentation was more enjoyable to watch. I believe around half of the members in the group used too many words on their slides, which distracts the audience and encourages to read instead of listening to what the presenter is talking about. Also, another mistake they committed was that some of the members were not ready to jump in after the person who was talking, making it be seen a little bit disorganized and affecting the fluency of the presentation. At the end they did a great job inserting colorful and interesting images as well as some videos with very valuable information about the protests we see daily, as well as the Gun violence topic which is a very...

Alan Castillo SPC 1017 9:00 a.m - 9:50 a.m      Group number one was the first to present and they went over law and order in protests and rallies and education issues. In their presentation most of the group members used minimal wording on their slides and described their assigned portion of the issue really well. On the other hand, a small portion of the presenters used too many words in their slides which made it take away attention from what they were presenting since the audience had to read their slides while they spoke about their portion of the issue. Although some group members did use too many words in their slides, the entire group overall showed off many pictures and videos to drive their points home to the audience, which I very much enjoyed. In addition, group one's brochure was stunning, easy to understand, and informative. Moreover, group one did also have a couple more mistakes such as not many of the group members having turned on their face cams w...
