SPC Group presentation blog post - Alfred Vizcaino

In my speech class we did 3 separate presentations on different things in the United States. The six topics that we needed to cover across the 3 groups were Law and order-protests and rallies, Education, Health care, immigration, Racial divides, and the Pandemic. To start off, group 1 had Law and order-protests and rallies as well as education. For all the groups we were supposed to include things such as an Agenda, a presentation, a brochure while including information about their topics. Group one’s presentation was very good; their brochure and their agendas were easy to understand. The information in their presentation was very important related to todays issues. And the individuals presenting the presentation were very well informed of the topic they were speaking about. As well as the information on the brochures and the agendas were very informative. You could tell that all of individuals were well informed of the topic and they did their research to do a good presentation. I believe that they got a good grade on their presentation as well. I do not think that anyone got under a C on this project which is really good.

The next presentation that we watched was group two’s presentation. Group two covered Health care and immigration. Group two’s presentation was good, although I do not mean to be rude although the presentation felt a little rushed. As if everyone did their parts of the presentation the day before the project was due. They still got the job done and put all of their information in although it would have been better to receive a more well-rounded presentation. I also believe the brochure and the agenda were also filled with good information although it also felt a little rushed. Some of the members of group two of course were well informed of what they were doing although others compared to those weren’t as informed.

The third and final group as well as the group that I am in is group three. Group 3’s presentation in my opinion of course the best presentation. We were covering the Racial Divide and we were covering the pandemic. Under the information for racial divide we covered subjects like the Black Lives Matter Movement as well as the riots and protests created by the deaths of some men and women of color that were treated unfairly when arrested. The other topic we covered was the global pandemic Covid-19. We went over a timeline of how the country responded to the pandemic and when we closed our borders, as well as small and big companies and organizations that provided for the people of the united states and provided to help stop any further spreading of Covid-19. We also did a brochure and an agenda. In my opinion our agenda was good but our brochure was a little bit rushed. Although overall we were all well informed of the information presented on our presentation. Overall covering all 3 presentations I can say all 3 of them were well written and all of them informed me of things happening around the united states at the moment. I really enjoyed listening to the students presenting and enjoyed the few that turned on their cameras.
