Group One, Two, and Three Presentations Blog

Group number one was the first to present and they presented chapter three which dealt with intercultural communications.
In their presentation most of the group members used minimal wording on their slides and described their assigned portion of the chapter really well. On the other hand, a hand full of the presenters used too many word in their slides which either they read off of showing that they did not study for their part of the presentation or it took away attention from what they were presenting since the audience had to read their slides while they spoke about their portion of the chapter. Although some group members did use too many words in their slides, the entire group overall showed off many pictures, videos, and graphs, although some of their videos were a bit too lengthy, to drive their points home to the audience, which I very much enjoyed. Moreover, group one did also have a couple more mistakes such as not all the group members having turned on their face cams while doing their portion of the presentation, and the fact that not all the members in group one showed up on the day of the presentation to present their portion. All in all I mostly enjoyed group number one's presentation and all their hard work showed throughout their presentation as they implemented many useful videos, pictures, and graphs to help the audience understand their chapter without having to read it in its entirety.

Group number two was the next to present and they went over chapter nine which overall has to do with communicating in groups.
In their presentation they showed many videos, graphs, and pictures to describe their portion of the chapter, which really allowed for the audience to understand their chapter more in depth. Furthermore, they each used a number of vocabulary words from the chapter to help the audience further understand the chapter thoroughly. In addition, group number two also did not use unnecessary wording in their slides, and each presenter described their portion of the chapter very well, which shows that most of them went over the chapter and studied it meticulously for the presentation. Although I believe group number two's presentation was overall superb, they did have some shortcomings in a few areas. For starters some of their group members did not turn on their face cameras while presenting and some of their members did not even show up to present. Moreover, some of their group members used too many superfluous words in their slides, which like the last group, took attention away from what they were presenting since the audience members had to read their slides, or they read off of their slides which showed that they were woefully unprepared for their portion of the presentation. While group number two did have a few mistakes in their presentation, they by and large still, in my opinion, had an incredible presentation due to their use of graphs, pictures, and videos, as well as their use of the chapters vocabulary words and their preparation for their presentation.

Group number three was the last to present, that was the group I was in, and we went over group leadership and problem solving.

I very much enjoyed my groups presentation since they implemented many videos and pictures, while also describing their part of the chapter stupendously, which really allowed the class to understand the chapter without completely reading. Our group also used very minimal wording and we used a lot of the vocabulary from the chapter so the class could understand the chapter more in depth. Although we presented very well, not many people turned on their face cameras while presenting. Ultimately, I believe that group three, my group, presented the best because of all the example we gave and all the vocabulary from the chapter we used, even though not everyone turned on their face cameras to present.
