SPC Theme Project Review by: Edward Valdes

Group Number 1 went over Law and Order-Protests/Rallies and Education Issues. Most of the group members used minimal wording on their slides and more pictures. They presented their assigned portion of the issue well and it was very easy to understand. On the other hand, some of the group members had too many words with almost no pictures. The brochure they made was very informative and easy to understand. Some other mistake group 1 made was that not many of the group members had their face cams turned on while doing their part of the presentation, also not all the members in group one showed up on the day of the presentation to present their part of their presentation. The entire group overall showed off many pictures and videos to show their prestation and it made it easier to understand their issue. The group also remained on topic and didn’t write about other random topics.

Group number 2 was next to present and they went over Health care and Immigration. The group provided good slides with many pictures and videos that talked about their topic. But while presenting they ran into a couple problems. It was like if they left everything for last minute and some of the members weren’t even ready to present. Also, there was some of the members that didn’t even show up. Some slides also were very long with too many words. Other than that, some slides were presented very good providing not that many words but there was enough to understand what they were talking about. The videos that were provided was also very straightforward and provided a lot of information. Also, most of the group members had their camera on and that was very good when presenting. They provided many images which gives a visual presentation on the information they are explaining. Overall, as a group they provided a couple slides that were very good and educated and they were straightforward with their information.

Group number 3 was the last to present and they were assigned Racial Divides and The Pandemic. This was my group and overall, as a group I think we did very good and we were ready to present. As a group we discussed our topics ahead of time to make sure we had everything ready and good. The slides that were provided had not that many words, but it had enough to understand and educate the viewers. We also had pictures that provided addition information for the viewers. The videos weren’t long, and they also provided information that was key to the topic. On the other hand, a mistake we made was that not many of us had our cameras turned on while presenting. Also, some of us put a little too many words in our slides. We also got information from many sources that were facts only and let us provide the right information to our viewers. Although we made some mistakes as a group, I think we presented very clearly and provided the right information and right amount of information in our slides. Overall, as a group I think we did very good.
