Diversity and Inclusion: What Your Law Firm Can Do | New Jersey Law Journal

Group Ones presentation was easily understandable and very nicely presented. They clearly explained the section they were assigned to complete and added educational videos on the matter. They also remained on topic and kept a steady flow with the sources they have used to make the presentation. It seems that they have incorporated those teamwork techniques into their own experience. Although, some advice I would give them is to include their own personal experiences so it is more relatable to their audience, but if they don't want to, then that's alright as well. Another thing about their presentation that I didn't quite like was the fact that they were reading off their slides. It shows how they lacked actual understanding in their given topics. In my opinion, having actual understanding is being able to explain things in your own words/easily without need to search for it somewhere or asking somebody. They also included various amounts of visual explanations of said topics, they could maybe include less next time and have a more orally active presentation.

14 Tried-and-True Ideas to Improve Team Communication

Group Two had presented the topics revolving around communication in teams. In my opinion, this is one of the most important skills when it comes to the working environment since it revolves around keeping each other up to date and active. They presentation was very well done and didn't lack a detail. Yet again with team one, some people were reading straight off the screens instead of elaborating their own point throughout the presentation. Vocabulary is something they could also improve on as well in order to express more professionalism into their presentations and discussions. It will help them properly discuss and get across to the listeners and have them think they are really serious about what they are trying to communicate. They provided a good amount of sources to support their topics and enforce the understanding they were trying to convey to the audience. I have a feeling that they also conveyed the communication skills into their own group for how ready and quickly the presentation went by during the class times. Almost everyone was present to give their speeches as well as ready.

Group Three was more simple with more written and visual explanations. They had provided pictures and went by smoothly. Of course, there were people missing, but when they did present they were ready to inform their piece to the audience. The overall presentation was easy to understand and express towards the audience and anyone can tell that each group member did their piece fairly. Understanding was obvious as well by the way some of the presenters elaborated on their explanations of said subject. Their transition to the following presenter could have been better, but I appreciate that they included some of it instead of saying they were done which is a habit that people tend to have when claiming that their speech is complete. It adds more professionalism into their vocabulary. Not only that, but keeping the crowd interested is another large factor in presenting, I would suggest doing something that will keep people listening or contributing into the conversation.
