SPC Project 2 Review - Anthony Menendez

I'll be reviewing the three groups' project on the topics we were assigned. When reviewing the groups, I'll be explaining their topics and how they went about their presentations. In my first review, I'll review group 1's topic and that is Law and Order. Then the next review, is on group 2. With the final review on group 3. Group 1 had a good presentation with a good topic. Group 2 had a great topic with a weak presentation. Group 3 had a great topic and great information, but a mediocre presentation due to circumstances out of their hands.

In group 1's presentation, they spoke about law and order. They had a good topic and an equally as good of a presentation. However, their communication during the presentation was a bit off. But let me explain, my favorite part of their presentation, is how they used historical references. The way group 1 used historical data to explain law and order. I like to learn the history of things, and it was interesting learning the history of certain laws. Not only, did they bring up history, but they spoke how it led up to current events. While, their communication was a bit off, their information was very good. Now, it's time to review group 2.

I'll say this, group 2 had the weakest presentation. It's sad to say that, because they had a topic with such great potential.  When presenting about education, they should've done a better job, but everything was sloppy. When I say everything was sloppy, I mean everything was sloppy. From their communication to their information, it wasn't well organized at all. At first look, it's obvious that they did their last minute as their information was pretty bad. But what was worse was their communication, it sounded like they had no idea about what they were talking about. Overall, it was a weak presentation about what should be an amazing topic. Now, for my next review on group 3.

Group 3 had great information on their slides, but due to circumstances out of their hands their presentation was mediocre. Group 3 had an amazing topic, and they had to present about racial divides and the pandemic. What was interesting about the topic, is how current in history it is, and they had outstanding information. Group 3 went into great detail explaining their topic, and like group 1 used historical and modern references. Now for the tragic part, group members had issues presenting due to bad internet connection. I believe under different circumstances, it'd go way better for them presenting. Overall, Group 3 did an amazing job, but bad internet held them back.

This was a fun project, because we learned about different things in the world. I said in my last blog, that we would improve with experience. That was mostly true, except for group 2's case. Other than that, Group 1 and 3 had the best projects.
