Projects:

Group 1:
The first group presenting was Group 1 and they talked about Law and Order-Protests/Rallies and also about Education. While I overall think they did an amazing job like the other 2 groups and the leaders, they did have some things that could have being different so their presentation was more enjoyable to watch. I believe around half of the members in the group used too many words on their slides, which distracts the audience and encourages to read instead of listening to what the presenter is talking about. Also, another mistake they committed was that some of the members were not ready to jump in after the person who was talking, making it be seen a little bit disorganized and affecting the fluency of the presentation. At the end they did a great job inserting colorful and interesting images as well as some videos with very valuable information about the protests we see daily, as well as the Gun violence topic which is a very controversial one in America this recent years. It can also be mentioned that their brochure was a very well done one, with some information and interesting images that portrayed the topics very well.

Group 2:

The second group had to talk and explain about Healthcare and Immigration. Just like group one I enjoyed how the members explained their assigned topics and also how the PowerPoint was very colorful and well structured. On the other hand, I think the group didn’t quite organized themselves to much, because I felt that there was too much text in the slides and that most of the members just read their slides. As always videos do help by providing the information in a different way, but the problem is when they are too extensive and they drive the audience’s attention. Besides the bad points, I really liked their presentation and also their brochure, they provided very helpful information about these themes. Lastly, a very good addition to their presentation was that, if I’m not mistaken, most of the group members had their cameras on.

Group 3:

Then we have Group 3, which is also my group. I think we did a very well done job by providing information about the Pandemic and Racial divides, which are some of the most interesting topics in these moments in America. The Power Point overall was very colorful and had some pictures related to the topic which help for the understanding of the audience. Sadly, a weak point for our presentation was that not everybody turned their cameras on, including myself, which doesn’t look very well while presenting. Our slides contained the perfect amount of information I think, with maybe some sentences to help the presenter or even some bullets with minimal words. Besides not turning our cameras on, I think our group did extremely well and did a great job.

Group Leaders:

The Group leaders were the last group presenting, and even tough they were only two members in this team, they did a great job addressing every group’s mistakes in their presentations. They did a very good-looking presentation where they highlighted the Pros and Cons of every group who presented in a general way. They were mostly common mistakes between the groups, like the camera issue, but they expressed that we did a good job at the end by researching and presenting the information on the topics we were assigned.
